Hobnail Bon Bon dish made by Fenton. Beautiful crimped rim on this dish! Made in USA. The new Opalescent Hobnail line of glass produced during the 1940s sustained Fenton through WWII.

Fenton Glass was established in 1907 by Frank and John Fenton in Martin's Ferry, Ohio. They opened their first glass factory in Williamstown, West Virginia. Quality makers of glass for over 100 years, all pieces made prior to 1973 are not marked with the Fenton Logo. Fenton has hand crafted some of our loveliest American collectible art glass and continues to be a family run business. The white ruffled opalescent hobnail pattern is one of the most lovely patterns that Fenton produced, and is a real favorite of collectors. It has a colorful iridescent glow when the light hits it just right.

This pattern was produced from 1939 to 1955; this platter has a scalloped edge.

Approximately 7 1/2” square and 3” tall.

Excellent vintage condition. factory
