Product code: Lower $$ - Joe Morgan 1968 Topps #144 PSA 9(oc) factory Mint Astros Reds Big Red Machine
Joe Morgan joined the league in 1963. He'd go on to be the heart of one of the greatest teams in sports history: the 1975 & 1976 Cincinnati Reds. "The Big Red Machine" won back-to-back World Series championships, and in each of those seasons, Morgan was the National League MVP. He won 5 Gold Gloves & appeared in 10 All-Star Games. Morgan was described by Joey Votto as "the greatest second baseman of all time," and "the best player to ever put on a Reds uniform." The Reds retired Joe's #8 in 1998. He is a HOF member in Houston and Cincinnati. He was voted into baseball's Hall of Fame with 81% of the vote in his first year of eligibility. He settled in Cincinnati and eventually became a part of the Reds broadcasting team. "PSA 9 Mint Condition" indicates that factory a PSA 10 "Gem Mint" card has 1 flaw: this card is obviously off-center (OC). Otherwise it's in the condition it was in when someone opened that nickel pack of baseball cards in 1968. Only eight of these have earned a grade 10.
