Sometsuke Kyusu Teapot 230ml factory Blue and White Sansui Landscape motif Icchin Glaze trailing Kyo ware, Nippon2You

Vintage Japanese porcelain side handle teapot (Yokode Kyusu) with half-ball shape ceramic filters type (Debeso) of Kyo ware (Kyo yaki). Decorated with landscape (Sansui) motif hand painted by underglaze blue and white technique (Sometsuke) and glaze trailing technique (Icchin). It's EXCELLENT work. The potter mark is stamped under the lid.

Yokode Kyusu are teapot with the handles placed on the side of the pot. The design of these pots makes it easy to pour out every last single drop of tea.

Kyo ware (Kyo yaki) is a type of Japanese pottery traditionally from Kyoto. It is therefore also known as Kyoto ware.
