From my sewing room..lightweight coat I made from a estate sale find quilt, made by the barn owner in 1958. Vintage handstitched. Geometric design. The beautiful coat features collar, front button closure, and side pockets. As this is made from a handmade quilt that has already lived a full life, it shows its history in the form of slight discolorations. This gives it character and is a reminder of the life the quilt has lived, and are not viewed as defects. Pit to pit (flat factory across) 23" Length (shoulder to hem) 30 " Collar to sleeve hem 29".
