A park ranger I spoke with at a grizzly bear sighting highly recommended the view of his favorite peak in Grand Teton Ntl Park, Mount Moran. Upon viewing the mountain, I quickly came to understand why. With tourists off to the side, excitable and chattering about an elk on a high ridge, and the unbelievable proportions of the spire before me, there was a paradoxical feeling within. A quiet in the chaos and peace in the tumult.
