This board is made exclusively using WOOD INLAY. To do this, a thin piece of a second specie of wood is set into into the base wood much like a jigsaw puzzle (in this case maple inlay into walnut base), which is then all sanded smooth to the touch. Inlay allows for limited use of natural colors , with an ability to do light on dark images.


These products are completely made to order, now offering 3 sizes
Small - 8x12x3/4 - $85

************CUSTOM ENGRAVING**********
If you select "w/custom" on any of the sizes, you can have a custom message engraved on the board. Common are short phrases like "The Smiths 2018" or "Dad of the Year", but I can put almost anything you'd like. Just leave your text in the order notes or email separately. All options will come with the artwork as you see it on the front, "custom" is only for additional personal message.

FYI- on darker materials like walnut, the engraving will be less visible and more subdued (dark on dark).
