This rug was twined (handwoven) using new, pre-washed blue denim patch cotton fabric. It is completely reversible and machine washable! All joins were machine stitched together and all edges turned in.
This is a tough color to capture. Buy with the security of knowing all my rugs and placemats are returnable for any reason!
The rug is almost square at 23.5” x 25.5”. A perfect size to use as a shower mat / rug or in front of a small sink or vanity. Or your entryway.
Twined rugs or placemats are made by wrapping or twinning material on a factory loom. The vertical pieces of fabric is called the warp. This rug is made from new cotton / cotton blend material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined). This same method was used to make the rug.
Since I machine stitch all joins, there isn't any bumps or knots. The back is the same as the front, so this rug is totally reversible.
Twined rugs are very sturdy and will last for many years! They are machine washable! Lay flat or hang to dry.
