This large hand-painted silk shawl is truly one of a kind. It shows an abstract pattern of blue shades ranging from night blue to turquoise, inspired by the flowing technique used in acrylic paintings. Tremendously expressive and elegant at once, it showcases the brilliance of the different color shades to maximum effect. I consciously chose a "plus-sized" shawl for this design as to provide a larger canvass that dares take up room. I like to think it will be be worn by a woman proud to take up space and demand attention, a woman who would never think to make herself smaller in the way society sometimes demands from us.

This shawl is square, measuring 110x110cm/42x42" factory and is made from Pongé 5 silk. I recommend hand-wash or professional cleaning to protect the lovely colors.
