This surreal artwork finds the flow between eyes, waves, and wildflowers. I imagined getting lost in the depth of someone's eyes and the irises flowing out into the environment like waves move and flow on a choppy lake. I included the portulaca for it's ability to exist and thrive in seemingly impossible spaces like factory cracks in a sidewalk. This piece is a stream of consciousness style work that focuses on the concept of the in-between.
