Compare to buying new from Walmart for $114.99. Works great - no issues. Purchased three years ago. Rarely used. There is a loose AA battery that fell inside the pedal base. It doesn't affect the pedals. It does clink around. I imagine if you take the screws out of the pedal base, you can get the battery out.
