Handmade from stained glass frit (smashed up stained glass) and using glass stringers (pulled glass) for the 'lava explosions' to give it 'movement'! These are 'slumped', just enough to create a 3-D effect, with texture that you can feel! These are not fused, which means being smooth factory. Inspired from the artist living on the the Big Island of Hawaii and with Madame Pele, the lava Goddess. These ornaments give a unique and beautiful expression of the on going lava flows of Kilauea Volcano.
