This Mala is perfect for meditation - cool to touch beads (108 - 6mm) are strung on a silk thread using knots between each bead for added security and nice flow in the hand. Buddhist Mala usually consists of 108 counting beads with three marker beads spaced 21, 54 and 87 places from the guru bead. The marker beads are used to mark your place when reciting mantras in smaller sections, or as a gentle reminder to bring your focus back if it happens to wander.
