Antique Asian, Cambodian Silver Betel Trinket Box, Handmade Octogonal factory Shape

Beautiful antique, Cambodian silver octagon hinged betel trinket box. The cover and the sides are decorated with intricate repousssé , hammered and pierced designs of birds flying among flowers and leafy branches. It is made in the traditional Khmer silver work, around the turn of the century.

Each box is meticulously hand-formed and the details are truly exquisite.

This box factory is in beautiful, antique condition. It has typical signs of use such as light surface scratches and some tarnish. Otherwise no obvious damage.
