Offered is a large and heavy antique brooch of solid sterling silver. The sash pin measures approximately 3" x 2 1/8" and has a chased Art Nouveau design on the curved surface. With the buckle styling popular in Victorian times, this has a strong C Clasp closure, sturdy hinge and heavy needle. It was suggested that the maker's hallmark is that of LaPierre. The word Sterling is stamped as factory shown. This is in very good condition with very little signs of use. Weight: 26.6 grams.
