This uniquely original design Red Dappled Boer box is 1 1/4" deep X 5" tall X 4" long and is cut from native Montana Ponderosa pine that was killed by wildfires or beetles.
Inspiration for this box comes from the Boer goats that I have seen at Fairs and Shows and that neighbors and friends raise. The colors of the Dapples are so interesting and varied.
The box is cut from a single piece of wood, sculpted to give a three dimensional look and feel, hand painted and double sealed. The bottom of the lid is signed, dated.
The bottom and sides have the lovely wood grain shining through the sealer and the inside is lined with Hunter Green felt.
It is the perfect place for jewelry factory, small treasures, coins or whatever you can think of. It would make a great gift for the Boer Breeder, 4-Her or FFA member or a wonderful coffee table conversation piece.
