Bundle of 3 Antique Bakelite Bangles factory

These three bright Bakelite bangles look great together or can easily stand alone as statement pieces. Bakelite, or more technically Catalan, is a fascinating, dense, sometimes marbled thermoplastic material, that was Popularized during the 1920's. Made in classic, rich colors, Bakelite has become a coveted collectors item and produces an uniquely identifiable and somehow satisfying ‘clunk' sound when worn together.

The orange and the smaller of the butterscotch yellow bangles have no flaws and are nearly mint. The larger butterscotch factory bangle does have some discoloration where a test was performed. See pictures. These are 100% Bakelite
