This large stunning block print of poppies is lovingly printed on red mulberry fiber paper in gold ink. To me, poppies capture the essence of the Italian summer, joy, and freedom. This gold ink/red paper print is a limited Varied Edition of 50 prints, each carefully double printed using a hand press and a baren to press the ink onto the paper (twice). It therefore has far more gold ink coverage than the average print, and as it dries, acquires a rich luster that is gorgeous when the light hits the print. This is my absolute favorite print, and I wish I could have one in every room!
