Sound really good !! I will post as fair because of the twitters are push in as you can see in the pictures but it doesn't affect the sound. Any concerns please let me know!! These speakers have survived in nearly perfect condition and represent a look back at just how good American Audio was back in the early days. The sonic signature of the Marantz Imperial 5G is more like an AR than an Advent...eg: they are very open, clear, and dynamic...as opposed to soft, laid back and mellow. If you have a vintage turntable, and enjoy vinyl records played back through warm factory, smooth sounding tube gear, you will really enjoy the resolution and imaging of these speakers.
