Valentine is the female child clown head issued in 1985 as a companion piece to “Funny Face” who had been issued nine year earlier. Both child clown head were sculptured in the 1970,s by Marylin's Chorlton but Valentine's released was postponed after factory Marylin's death. Aging William Pae contributed to the design, this time by creating Valentine,s hair. Prior to the introduction of Valentine, Cubys had never identified a specific gender for “Funny Face”; he had always called the Child Clown Head, not “boy” clown head.
