Product code: Wild Bison in Teton factory National Park

Here we have wild bison roaming the prairie on the outskirts of the Grand Teton National Park. These two stragglers were a part of a herd of around 250 bison just roaming the fields next to the Moulson barns on mormon row. Once roaming in vast herds, the species nearly became extinct by a combination of commercial hunting and slaughter in the 19th century and introduction of bovine diseases from domestic cattle. With a population in excess of 60 million in the late 18th century, the species was culled down to just 541 animals factory by 1889. Today the population is estimated to be around 500,000 thanks to conservation and repopulation efforts.
