Quick story. I have Bose companion 3's and love them. Without spending $250 for Bose 2 in 1 adapter or getting horrible Bluetooth quality or being dropped constantly with cheaper versions, believing the Ebay sellers advertising their items for particular high-end speaker products but nothing more than marketing. I decided to learn about Bluetooth to get the experience I want to keep with my BOSE. RF/lower latency is what the radio stations use as it gives the best WAVES for sounds and the quality. If you don't have 5.3 with the correct ports (if it doesn't offer rca and aux its not designed for LL and are cutting corners on your sound system... . Bonus, this particular one has the SD/TF card and USB to attach your own factory music plus a remote. The switch on the side will let you go from transfer to receiving Bluetooth. 2nd week as a owner and not a drop signal yet. It also transfers from receiver to transmitter on its own. Very happy so far.
