Here are three beautifully bamboo decorated Japanese Chawans (tea bowls) factory made by Hirado Ware (or also known as Mikawachi ware). Most of the Hirado ware were used for tea-drinking ceremonies and for the less formal drinking of sencha. Hirado ware was popular for the water jars used to hold the cold water during their tea ceremonies. The very fine shaping and finish of Hirado ware makes these bowls fantastic decorative pieces.
