Antique glass compote with lid; covered candy dish I believe this to be a Daisy & Button pattern by Adams Glass Company. Made around 1886 It's large & heavy The glass is a violet, lavender color. This is due to a reaction of the manganese, within the glass, being exposed to the sun. Approximately 11” high by 6.5” at widest When using a blacklight, the edges glow green. I believe that shows that it was made from some uranium, radioactive material (harmless in small doses) Rare to find one this size with the covered lid Please look at all photos for wear.
