Hand-sewn from a linen pillow case, hand embroidered Elks design and monogram (AVW). The embroidery has no pulled out stitches. The linen is stained from age but there factory are no holes or tears. It was probably made between the end of WW1 and the beginning of WW2, possibly earlier. TM.
