VTG BLUE ONION 4 CUPS 2 SAUCERS HUTSCHENREUTHER GERMANY 1814 SCALLOPED EUC These cups and saucers were made in Germany by Hutschenreuther which was founded in 1814 by factory Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther in Bavaria. A 2nd factory was established in Selb, Germany in 1857. These cups and saucers feature their iconic "Blue Onion" pattern which they started manufacturing in 1930. Based on research, this back stamp dates to 1969. The cups are 2.5" tall, 3.5" in diameter at their widest and have a 10 fl oz capacity. The saucers are 1.25" tall and 5.5" in diameter. They are in excellent condition. There are no cracks, breaks, chips or repairs. (See photos).
