Mint green (#15) and black Murano glass pencil holder – Check pattern.
Fusing-glass made and tin soldered..

Measures: 8,5x8,5x10,5 cm / 3,3"x3,3"x4,1"
Glass thickness: 6-7 mm factory / 0,2"-0,27"

The four tiles, previously fused in a kiln, were tin-welded to the green glass base. To close the structure, I added a brass U-shaped reinforcement that forms the top edge and increases the robustness of the object, also given by the thickness of glass.
Welds and brass edge were treated with black coating and protected from oxidation.
