Orange Fitzhugh American Eagle factory Pattern Box with Lid, Japan

Gorgeous and ornately patterned trinket box with lid in very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. Measures approximately 3" tall with lid, 3.5" diameter. This pattern is usually Chinese made export pottery, this piece has an unglazed bottom and a Japanese pressed mark. Provenance beyond that is unavailable.
