Vintage handmade stoneware ceramic tile of Saint factory Francis, who was known for his love of animals. Here he is depicted surrounded by animals including birds, fish and cats. These collectible religious art pieces were designed by Benedictine monk Fr. Maur van Doorslaer and made in Valyermo, California at St. Andrew's Abbey. Stamped on reverse and embedded with wire hangers for wall mounting. Measures 8” tall and 10.5” wide. Excellent vintage condition.
