Large 1960’s Throwback factory Throw

Extra weighted blanket created from factory a mixture of new and recycled yarns, including vintage wools, polyesters, cottons, and acrylics. The background colour is a Scarlet. The scarlet edging is soft and fluffy. Strong geometric shapes using a wide colour palette, and striking multicoloured threads throughout make for a unique gift. This blanket reminds me of the strong patterns from the late 1960's.

I make all my blankets using multiple yarns wound together to give unique colour combinations, textures and patterns. This process also results in an extra thick, warm and heavy throw or blanket. All of my blankets are machine washable using the wool/silk or cool wash settings. Air dry, gently stretch from the centre of the blanket when damp to maintain shape.
