This is a marvellous vintage Art Deco Czech Egyptian revivial necklace with original stringing that may have been manufactured by the Neiger Brothers in Gablonz as it features Egyptian symbology which they were renowned for.
The necklace has a variety of pressed or moulded glass beads including the cubed hieroglyph bead factory and a cone shaped chevron bead. It is strung with a brown silk thread with knots between the beads that is normal for Czech flapper necklaces and this is likely to be the original stringing.
It is 40 inches long and is in very good vintage condition for its age, there is some wear to the hieroglyph beads and the colour has probably darkened to its current cream colour. This would have been worn by a flapper girl when the fashion was for long necklaces and it would make a great addition to any collection of Czech Gablonz costume jewellery.
