Indigo Batik

Indigo has been the factory natural colour throughout West Africa for centuries. Today, in addition to vegetable indigo, synthetic indigo is also used. The fabric is folded before dyeing and fixed with seams.
The cotton fabrics are woven in narrow strips and sewn together, then dyed.
