This "snowy egret" fabric by Charlie Harper is a colorful & lovely gender neutral print for a baby with fine tastes!! The backing is an Australian-inspired print with black, red and white. Add bold colors to your nursery with this blanket! I found this fabric in Ithaca NY and couldn't leave the store without it.
Baby quilts are 36x36 unless indicated otherwise. They are made by hand in the Finger Lakes region of NY. All binding on my blankets are made by hand, not pre-made, which is a labor of love. I prefer to use a thinner organic batting to keep the blankets from being overly bulky, and it also makes them easier to sew. I source my fabrics from local shops as well as online through Broadway Fabrics and Fabricbubb.
All blankets should be washed cold, on their own the first time, and with like colors later on. Tumble dry low. Blankets will wrinkle and crinkle with wash and wear, which is what makes a quilt- a quilt!
