This Rounding hammer is made of S7 tool steel. It is a air hardening shock resistant steel. It weighs 2.25lbs making it great for finish work and/or cold working. This steel is extremely tough, it is used in industry for jackhammer bits and other things that take a beating. the handle is 12 inches long with no factory palm swells for versatile use. Burnt black sanded with 000 steel wool. Soaked in a 75% linseed to 25% turpentine mix for a minimum of 12 hours.
