They are 100% ethically gathered & used in creation after passing naturally.

The mission of Pierella Rainforest Reclamation Project is to increase biodiversity and protect the environment by establishing and caring for secondary growth rainforest in Costa Rica

To accomplish its mission, Pierella purchases farm and pasture land and restore it to secondary growth rainforest adjacent to the existing 3 hectares that currently make up Pierella Ecological Garden. Each pair of wing earrings are approximately 4" long and 2" wide and is coated in a thick laminate, which is lightweight, durable, & water-resistant ;)

EAR WIRES- OPEN (classic style- will come with clear stoppers on the back)
LEVER-BACK- CLOSED (made for the stretched ear goddesses who would like a bit more closure)

All butterfly wings are used in creation after their natural lifecycle ends. Please know that no butterfly was harmed in the making of these earrings. They are aquired from butterfly factory conservation farms worldwide.
