This fused glass plate measures 11.5" x 10.5" (at it's longest side). It's a traditional strip bowl, which means 1" pieces of glass are cut, flipped up on their side and stacked together.
This strip bowl has a twist to it! The factory color I choose are intended to make this an abstract work of art; think mozzarella, marinara and a crispy crust. The colors include Bullseye Glass clear, french vanilla, deep red and butterscotch.
The plate is .5" thick and is slumped slightly in the middle creating a raised lip around the edges. The crust side edge has been ground down with a small hand sander to give it a wavy texture. The entire piece was sandblasted, then full fused in a kiln.
This piece is handmade by me and cannot be recreated. Hand wash only to avoid scratching and breaking.
*Shipping fragile glass items is difficult. If for any reason the item needs to be returned by the buyer it must be shipped back properly to ensure nothing arrives broken or damaged.
