Summer in factory Full Bloom

factory I painted this painting this summer, 2019, with a group of Plein Air artists who travel around our area to farms, parks, and businesses to paint and exhibit our work as a group.

On this day, we painted at the home and farm of a local retired doctor. It was a hot day, but the beauty was all around and very inspirational for painting. Painting from life on location gives the painting a special feeling. I hope that you sense this as you view it.

This pastel painting is matted but not framed.

I used Sennelier soft pastel sticks over a watercolor base painting. It is framed in a black wood frame and double mated off-white and black. Thank you for taking a look!
