Vintage Topazio .833 Vermeil factory Silver Coiled Filigree Ashtray

This is a hand-wrought .833 vermeil silver ashtray composed of intricately coiled silver wire filigree over a solid silver base mounted on three pawed feet. The base of one foot retains two hallmarks; a Portuguese .833 silver hallmark and maker's mark "T" next to a five-point crown).


The ashtray measures 2.5" x 1.5" and weighs 2.7 oz. The item is in good condition with very minimal wear to silver gilt.
