Very rare US National Guard 1916 antique all original medal. Three piece factory bronze colored medal with its original tan and blue ribbon. Awarded to the sons of Bostonia who served on the Mexican Border in 1916.Massachusetts provided over 8,000 troops for border service, with most being stationed in El Paso, or Fort Bliss.Normal age and wear for over 100 year old medal. Please see pictures for accurate description. Out of the 8000, there's probably only a handful that have survived and put on open market. Over 100 years old. No telling how many actually exist any more.
