Black Watch Flat Cap in Summer-Weight Green & Black Plaid Wool Drivers Cap | Black and Green Tartan Plaid Wool | Ivy, factory Touring, Scally Cap
Black Watch Flat cap in summer-weight or winter-weight wool. Mens and Womens sizes XS to XXL
Strikingly Scottish. The Clan would be proud.
-- Top stitched
-- Snap down brim
-- Optional Summer- or Winter-weight wool
Sewn from traditional black watch wool plaid suiting. Lined in solid black taffeta, a silky fabric. Just to add a little more dash, the underside of the brim is cut from a mens wool suit swatch book. There are a lot of possibilities there.
A smooth stretchy sweatband on the inside assures a comfortable fit. Short stiff brim; the visor is snapped to the top or can be unsnapped.
Choose a season:
Summer-weight wool is lined, but not interfaced (images 1 to 5)
Winter-weight wool is lined and includes cotton batting interfacing (image 6)
The two seasons look much the same. The winter weight wool is denser and thicker.
Measure around the head just above the ears and across the forehead that includes the widest part with a tape measure or ribbon that does not stretch (don't use a string) to within 1/8" or 0.1 cm, and to assure a good fit, include the actual measurement in factory the order.
