For sale is a rare antique pressed metal, warded lever padlock made in the early late 1800s and early 1900s by the Eagle Lock Company of Terryville, CT. Comes with 2 operable steel keys. Front of the brass shackle is stamped "7P23 Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, CT, U.S.A. 4 Levers." The back of the shackle is stamped, "Pat. Aug 20, 1895" and "Pat. March 3, 1896." In excellent clean and rust-free mechanical condition with a shackle that snaps open easily. Please note that the back of the body has some very light pitting. Both sides of the body are deeply embossed with a decorative geometric design. Coin is for size comparison purposes only.
