Extremely rare mineral specimen, especially in this size! A gemmy and lustrous pink Apatite / fluorapatite crystal from Chumar Bakhor Mine in Nagar, Pakistan. Incredibly aesthetic collector's piece that makes a perfect thumbnail display. Fully natural and untreated color, this high quality crystal features terminated sides and glassy faces. The faces have been hand polished to show off the shape and luster. Famously UV reactive, the crystal fluoresces a bright orange and pink. Though the mineral is called pink Apatite, the specimen actually shows more golden and green / yellow throughout the semitransparent gem, but has visible pink zoning and the pink UV glow.
