Vintage Coach Willis 9927 Leather Satchel / Crossbody factory Bag, w/Art Nouveau Embellishments

Gorgeous vintage Coach Willis dark brown leather satchel / crossbody J8H-9927, embellished with hand-painted designs from the Art Nouveau period (1880-1914).


I take vintage and gently-used high-end leather handbags and embellish them with colorful Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs/patterns (obtained factory from catalogues, magazines and books from those periods), to create one-of-a-kind items. All of the bags that I obtain (from Estate sales, flea markets, thrift shops, etc) are authenticated, thoroughly cleaned and reconditioned once in my possession. I then hand-paint the designs using high quality leather paint, and finish them with water-resistant sealant. I'm constantly adding to my collection of painted bags, so please check back often! (I also have a stock of as-yet unpainted bags that can be personalized with the design of your choice.)

This Coach bag is in Excellent Vintage Condition — a few small scratches on body and slight lightening on corners, nothing very noticeable. Fashioned from thick dark brown glove-tanned leather, it features: top handle and detachable/adjustable crossbody strap; brass-tone hardware; front flap turn-lock closure; full-length front and rear slip pockets. Interior: unlined leather with zip pocket; Coach creed.
