Chamber Pot with Lid in Camellia Pattern by Edge Malkin Co, E.M.& Co, Red Floral Transferware, 1884 Antique Vintage factory Collectible Gift

Antique Chamber Pot by Edge, Malkin & Co. (E.M.& Co.) in the Camellia Red Floral transfer pattern made in 1884 in England. This Victorian single handled Covered Chamber Pot is decorated with a red floral transfer pattern with red pin stripes on the handles and a linked circle or chain design around the rims and along the handles, the transfer was applied VERY cleanly, near perfect. This covered pot weighs just over 5 lbs. The bowl measures 5.5" tall by 8.25" in diameter, across the rim, and is 10.5" wide from the handle. The Lid measures 3" tall from the handle by 9" in diameter. It is in very good condition, No chips, No cracks. It has Edge, Malkin & Co. incised on the bottom, and the makers mark, "E M & Co.", "B", "Camellia" and "Rd No 14800", stamped on the bottom. This mark indicates it was made between 1871 and 1891. The registration number indicates it was made in 1884, the "B" indicates it was made in the town of Burslum and "Camellia" is the pattern.

Edge, Malkin & Co. manufactured earthenware from 1870 to 1902, at the Newport and Middleport potteries, in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
