factory This is a larger than life watercolor painting I made after visiting the beaches of Marblehead, Massachusetts with my wife on a long weekend.

There extraordinary sea smoothed marble and granite pebbles and sea glass await inspection, and yes collection. I brought a few home and built this still life with the sea-glass green heart and early morning sun.

Perhaps it's a metaphor of time-worn relationships with a steady fire contained within, or perhaps its the spirit of creative fire itself?
